1.) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:    No purchase necessary to enter. Promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. (PT) on October 31, 2002 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on December 5, 2002. Prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.

2.) HOW TO ENTER:    Complete and submit electronically the entry form located online at http://www.carpoint.com. You will be asked to provide your first and last name, e-mail address, street address, phone number, and to answer a few questions. Entrants must complete all required information on the online entry form to be eligible. Limit one entry per person or e-mail address. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant are void. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries, or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of MSN CarPoint and will not be returned. Survey information provided will be used by content development teams to assess ongoing customer satisfaction goals. 3.) WINNER SELECTION:    A random drawing will be conducted on or about December 5, 2002 under the supervision of Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4.) PRIZE:    One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: $10,000, paid as a check from the Sweepstakes Administrator. Any applicable tax on the prize or other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. Some restrictions may apply. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Prizes will be awarded and winners will be notified by e-mail and/or mail.

5.) ELIGIBILITY:    This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees of Microsoft Corporation and anyone working directly on Microsoft programs and their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members and persons living in the households of each are not eligible to enter.

6.) GENERAL CONDITIONS:    Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners will be notified via e-mail or U.S. Mail within two (2) weeks of prize drawing. Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and where legal, Publicity Release within 14 days following the date of issuance of notification.
