The Outlander's smooth 3.0-liter V6 provides a lot of punch and returns 19 mpg overall, and the four-cylinder gets 22 mpg. Handling is fairly agile and it is secure limits, due in part to the ESC. The ride is fairly stiff. Interior fit and finish is a bit disappointing. The top-level V6 offers a third-row seat.

Trim: 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander SE AWC, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Selectable AWC is the favorite characteristic.
No hesitation or compromise on any harsh road/weather condition.
Inner space, Handling and braking are superb for the money.
Cons:
Poor materials inside, especialy the dashboard plastics. Looks and feel cheap.
Overall review:
Very reliable car, no problem on any situation, superb on snow and Ice, generous space and trank for families.
Get the V6 with the padle shifts. Realy sporty for an SUV.
Similar driving with Subaru Forester, much better than RAV and Nissan Rogue.
