Audi's entry into the supercar world is a midengined two-seat coupe that shares some components with the Lamborghini Gallardo. The base engine is a 430-hp, 4.2-liter V8 mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic. A 525-hp, 5.2-liter V10 is also available. The R8 has impressive acceleration and braking capabilities, and the ride is stiff but not too punishing.
