A Car for the Enthusiast by Elise from SoCal on 04/24/2013. Trim: 2011 Lotus Elise Convertible R, Owned 3 years.

Pros: The way it drives. Great handling. Wonderful control. Smooth engine and fun to use both feet to drive, no paddles for shifting. Great breaks and such a light feel. A pretty car that is fun to drive.

Cons: Worrying about the attention it attracts. There are some misconceptions about the car that will require the owner to answer the same question many times. Being careful where to park.

Overall review: Amazing car, unlike other cars on the road today. The Elise makes almost all other cars feel big and heavy. It is a precision instrument that will not suit most people. This car is for the driving enthusiast.
