The Galant is a sound car competing with better ones. We found the V6 quick and nicely trimmed, but it has been discontinued. The four-cylinder engine is spirited but noisy, and returns 23 mpg. The ride is choppy and stiff even on smooth pavement. Electronic stability control is standard for 2010.
