This new, five-passenger Insight continues to use Honda's conventional, relatively mild hybrid system called Integrated Motor Assist, but with a twist: It allows the driver to control the amount of electric boost and thus battery charge. The Insight is priced below current hybrids and slightly smaller than a Prius.
