From the Test Track
The XL-7 is based on the Chevrolet Equinox, but offers seating for up to seven passengers. The rear seat is roomy and can slide to increase passenger or cargo room. Power comes from a General Motors 3.6-liter V6, which returned 17 mpg. Ride and handling are better than in the Equinox, but the turning circle is wide. ESC and curtain air bags are standard.
