From the Test Track
The Aura XR has a smooth 3.6-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic that returned 20 mpg overall. Our tested XR was nimble and responsive. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic is new for 2009, replacing the old 3.5-liter V6, and a four-cylinder hybrid model is also available. Curtain air bags, ABS, and ESC are now standard.
