Pros: The most dependable car in all types of weather including in the middle of a 30-year Chicago blizzard. Not only is the electric steering precise enabling tight corners, the gauges are accurate and easy to read, and the transmission as smooth as silk. Styling is fairly classy with the front and back garnering good looks, and the interior is appealing as well. Much interior room especially headspace, trunk, and glovebox. It seems to have more power than it actually optimizing performance for my highly achieved mpg, steady accelerations, and quietness. It could really climb a mountain. And the 6-speaker radio/multi-CD player is another quality option with controls on the steering wheel.
Cons: The armwrest is too far back for those average height or shorter, some inside plastics seem to scrape easily, having the gas filling opposite the driving side, the car will fishtail hitting a hard bump at high speeds, bland styling from the sides, and the AC stays on as you click the vent back to normal air flow from defrost, although you can readily manually shut off the AC in normal airflow mode. Perhaps routine maintenance cost only in transmission fluid changes could be higher than average. The sides could warrant some bump protection.
Overall review: A fantastic commuter car that has higher capacity and working trunk that can hall larger items, or it can be the most underated economy car with diverse available options to boost it up to a high-quality family car. I feel my Sentra will go 150,000 miles without much surprising maintenance issues.
