From the Test Track
The redesigned IS offers two V6 engines and rear-wheel drive, with optional AWD. The interior is well constructed, but cramped. The 2.5-liter V6 is refined and gets 24 mpg overall, while the 3.5 is very quick. We found the ride jittery, and handling isn't very sporty. Crash-test results are impressive. A high-performance, V8-powered F model is available.
