From the Test Track
The Optima ranks among the better family sedans. It is pleasant and a good value, with a roomy back seat and comfortable ride. Handling is not particularly agile but is ultimately secure. Curtain air bags are standard, along with ABS and ESC on the freshened 2009 model.
