GOOD VALUE FAMILY SUV by Truthteller on 12/02/2009. Trim: 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
2
Pros: lnterior lighting, plenty of cup holders, styling, comfortable for 5 people, lots of trunk room, spare tire & rim, fog lights, dvd player, AWD good traction on sliper boat ramp, can tow a mid size boat,Trailer,Motor & full tank gas up to 3,500 lbs. Can put extra cargo on roof w/ optional cross braces (on roof) comfortable for long trips. mirrors on both sun visor, tinted windows, 4 wheel disk brakes. good value for what I paid. Pretty safe in collision (safety) Minimum damage(Front driver & passenger) Reliable. 12 volt plug in between driver seat & Front Passenger. Large glove compartment, storage between driver & front Passenger.
Cons: Brakes seem spongy not stopping firm not enough power for highway traffic or passing, slow to pickup! No stability control, able to tow only 3,500 lbs.confused about function of some button for air? Radio sound should be better, gas mileage. Manufacture recommends using unleaded Plus which is very expensive, Can use 86 octane but get less performance. Not enough tow options like larger radiator, extra transmission cooler ect. Only has 4 speed Automatic (should have 5 speed Automatic. A little confusing reading Rpm Gauge and What gear you are in. No light to see what gear on shifter so you always have to see what gear you are in by looking on dash board.Rear back up light not bright enough
Overall review: If you are not doing a lot of towing and want a good priced family suv for family vacations (traaveling) and of comfort for (5) and shopping for groceries then this vehicle will serve your purpose. Go for the LS AWD model for good traction in snow and loose dirt ect. If towing an aluminum boat of up to around 19 ft. or even a center console fiberglass It will be sufficient to tow those types of boats. Anything bigger (Watch Out)
