Pros:
The best bang for the buck. I bought this car when it was a year old, with 8,000 miles on it, for a song. The side view mirrors cannot be beat for rear vision. The car has virtually no blind spots, as the way the windows are laid out, one can see in all directions with absolutely no difficulty.
As to hauling........back seats fold down flat, passenger front seat folds flat, so one, as did I, can carry 8ft dimensional lumber with ease, with the trunk lid shut! To date, this is the most dependable, capable, roadworthy car I have owned.
Sound system is great, as are the audio controls on the steering wheel. Extra compartment on dash top is a plus
Cons:
Going through the Rockies. Would like to have shift capabilities other than screaming downshifts. OEM wiper blades were originally a trillion dollars each, but now aftermarket choices are available for much cheaper.
Overall review:
Excellent sedan for the money, bar none. If you want Maserati like characteristics in a sedan, then buy a Maserati. If one is looking for a basically wonderful sedan, that can do it all, for a great price, then, this is it. Should not have brought back the Taurus brand name for this car, though I had a Taurus, which served me very well, this is a step......and a large one at that, beyond that car.
