Grace and Pace by DesertJagMan on 06/17/2012. Trim: 2005 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 R, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Have had many cars (BMW, Porsche, Lincoln) - the last four (4) have been Jags and three (3) of those have been R models. Had a 2003 "R" that I purchased new and loved - so replaced it with a newer model. The 2005 S-type R is one of the all-time best. Comfortable for long trips, decent mileage, well-appointed interior and great paint. Looks good - Rides well - Spirited Acceleration. Just makes me feel good to get in and drive it. The R-Models have been greatly under-rated and under-appreciated. Quality is top notch - no more the days of old when Jags didn't maintain proper standards. The car is a pleasure.

Cons: I wouldn't mind another 50 horsepower - but when this was built (7 years ago) 390-400 was just about as good as it got for a performance sedan.

Overall review: Would recommend the marque to anyone. Grace and Pace. Gorgeous. The ads have it right.
