Pros:
I've performed about everything you can do to a vehicle being a mechanic/ Professional car builder and Proto type technician for Ford and G.M.(not at the same time) and an Advanced handeling and vehicle recovery instructor. This Mini is an absolute pleasure to drive. I've upgraded to power to JCW levels and what a difference!!. Solid ride, albeit too firm for your Buick drivers (LOL) it has 113XXX miles on it and so few issues. One of the best cars I've owned(and there has been ALOT)
If you are TRULY a sprited driver, get over the "IT'S A GIRL CAR" thing and DRIVE IT!!!! It will beg for more!!! Mine is Liquid Yellow with checkered flag roof and hoood stripes. LOVE IT!!!!
Cons:
I've had better fuel milage from more powerful cars.
Over time the backing of the dash has worn away allowing a nasty rattle(easly fixed)
Door locks are hit and miss now.
I'm 6'2", 210# and kind-a-biker looking, so when I pour myself out of the Mini, I get looks like "Thats your daughters car, RIGHT?
Overall review:
High praises for a little car. Well built, tough as they come, B.M.W. quallity(and quirks).
As everybody claims....GO CART experience on the public roadways.
