Nothing runs like a Ford by theogreen on 03/09/2012. Trim: 2000 Ford F-150 XL Reg. Cab Long Bed 2WD, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros: I now have 247000 miles on this truck and I am hoping to get another 100000 miles out of it. I have replaced the clutch once and that was due to the slave cylinder needed to be replaced. It is a V-6 with standard and since you are limited on standard transmissions with newer trucks I have no plans to get rid of it.

Cons: Gas mileage could be better, traction without a load in the back, rear end is a little loose

Overall review: I got this truck used in 2001 with just under 70000 miles and have enjoyed it ever since. No significant repairs.
