LOVE MY RANGER

Trim: 1990 Ford Ranger SuperCab 4WD, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros:
I have owned this truck from new (Dec 1989) and have kept it in excellent condition, XLT trim level, black with lower silver. Just over 300,000 ks on it now. No major work needed except the clutch and rear diff rebuilt. Engine is running great and passes emissions test every year. very comfortable to drive and great visibiliy in all directions. Fantastic turning circle. Gas mileage is acceptable for a 4 wheel drive vehicle of that year. Get lots of comments on how nice it is.
Cons:
Could use some more power for hills and passing, thinking about an electric supercharger to boost full throttle.
Overall review:
Better quality seats than the newer versions. Better to replace the engine when needed than get a newer truck.
