Its a keeper even after 20 years.

Pros:
535IS has the looks of M5 without the cost. This car has "shark" like nose found on current F1. Wow a 20 year old car was ahead of its time. I have over 275,000 miles since bought new. Same engine, same transmission without any overhaul. What a reliable engine and powertrain.
Cons:
Very low front spoiler. Turning into driveways too fast will cause some rubbing on center and corners and will chip off the paint. I have the optional 390mm rims and tires are expensive to replace so, check your tires for signs of uneven wear.
Overall review:
If you like the looks of older desgin BMW then the 5 series is the way to go. Much more room then the 3 series.
