2011 Hyundai Sonata: Flash DriveThis 2011 review is representative of model years 2011 to 2013. By Staff of MSN Autos The Sonata continues the modern Hyundai tradition of being competitive on every level, although it may not be a standout in any one area. It is less expensive than the comparable Honda and Toyota competition, but it has an engine that matches them in every way and an interior that is actually slightly nicer. The Sonata is a pleasure to drive and offers an ambience and sophistication I've never experienced in a Hyundai before. –Paul Hagger The all-new Sonata is one of the best family sedans on the market. The new design is distinctive enough to set it apart from the competition without looking unusual. The car's interior is very clean with quality materials and simple, straightforward controls. With a fuel economy rating of 35 mpg highway and the elimination of an available V6 engine, I was pleasantly surprised that power wasn't lacking at all. The 200 horsepower 4-cylinder engine with the 6-speed automatic is all you need for most situations. But the best part of the Sonata is the amazing value. A nice-looking family sedan with plenty of passenger and trunk room, Bluetooth, navigation, automatic transmission and a 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty for $24K is an incredible deal. –Perry Stern Related ArticlesSave Time and Money: |
