The 2015 Hyundai Sonata receives a facelifted exterior that falls in line with Hyundai’s latest design language – elegant curves and more refined aesthetics. The 2015 Sonata carries over its old 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine but also debuts a new 2.0-liter turbocharged-four in Sport 2.0T trim. The 2.0T engine produces 245 hp and 260 lb.-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Automatic high beams and auto-stopping cruise control are both standard. The outgoing Sonata’s many standard features also carry over.

2015 Sonata - A "Home Run" by Tazman in FL on 07/09/2014. Trim: 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The ride is smoother than my 2013 Sonata, without sacrificing handling. The passenger seat has a height adjustment (manual on SE and Sport, power on Limited). The power passenger seat, backup camera and blind-spot detection system standard on the Limited were just enough to get me to trade-in my 2013 Sonata SE. The 2015 has more interior room too. Outside looks more upscale with LED rear lighting, chrome rocker moldings and a brushed chrome grill with LED driving lights.
Cons: Nothing during the first 600 miles and 10 days of driving.
Overall review: Can't beat the amenities for the $$ spent, or the warranty. I drive close to 20,000 miles per year, and have owned a 2009, 2013 and now a 2015 Sonata. I considered the 2014 Azera, but liked the styling of the 2015 Sonata better. The interior room is almost identical between the two vehicles now the wheelbase and the width of the Sonata has grown.
