The 2015 Audi A3 is all new for the model year, ditching the previous generation’s hatchback in favor of a sleek sedan body sure to please American buyers. A two-door convertible will also be available later in the model year. The A3 is powered by either a 1.8 or 2.0L turbocharged engine and comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. Base A3s will be front-wheel-drive with all-wheel drive optional. The interior retains Audi’s business-like restraint, with a simple layout and quality materials.

The Kitchen Sink! by David on 04/28/2014. Trim: 2015 Audi A3.

Pros: You get a lot for your money with this car. There is almost nothing you would have to add. The only real things to decide is whether you want the 2.0T w/quattro or the 1.8T front wheel drive. All the bells and whistles come standard.
Cons: The styling is nice, but if you want a more sporty look, you might need to make a couple of simple additions. ( Wheels, windows tinted if you live in a sunny climate) It's still an attractive car regardless.
Overall review: I've test driven the Mercedes CLA and Audi A3. I feel you get more for the money with the A3 and the 2.0T w/quattro was more fun to drive. The CLA has more eye-catching styling, but looks a little cheap in places where as the A3 just felt solid throughout. So overall I think the A3 is the better buy.
