The whole package in its class. by Mgmcd1 from Washington, DC on 12/22/2013. Trim: 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I have owned this car for about one year (Limited), and I find it to be very comfortable, quiet, and well-made. I have recommended it to friends, and one has purchased the car and loves it. 200 hp and loads of torque work very well for the 3600 lbs of this vehicle. There is little to no cabin noise from the gas engine since this car is well insulated against outside noise. The Limited model has tons of amenities, and the touch capacitive dash controls work very well. The stereo is very nice and there is lots of presence at all frequencies. Overall, well worth the cost, and a much better deal than the Lexus ES sibling. It is about $5K cheaper for the same car, with better styling, IMHO.
Cons: The standard tires for this model are a little noisier than I would like. The OE Michelin tires that come on the 6 cylinder are much smoother. I will replace the tires with the Michelins when the current set wears out.
Overall review: Styling, composure, excellent build quality, low cost, and very low operating cost compared to any of its competitors hands down. If I didn't love the car, I would buy one of its competitors In a second. I plan on keeping this car for some time.
