The 2013 Ram 1500 receives a new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that offers 42 percent more horsepower, 13 percent more torque and 20 percent better fuel economy compared to the previous 3.7-liter V6 engine. The new Pentastar V6 is combined with a new 8-speed TorqueFlite 8 and fuel saving technology including start-stop system, thermal management system, pulse-width modulation and active aerodynamics to deliver best-in-class fuel economy of 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is also offered with the TorqueFlite 8 transmission which is operated by dash-mounted rotary e-shift. Available air suspension aids fuel economy, improves ride control, bolsters off-road capability, aids entry/exit and includes automatic load leveling. Exterior design updates includes new grilles and front fascias that vary between trim levels, improved quad projection headlights, LED front turn signals and LED taillights. Inside the Ram 1500 features new display screens, passive entry, new voice-recognition technology, steering wheel controls, wood accents, updated door panels and revised instrument panel.

Pros:
bought brand new ram 1500 4x4 with 5.7 hemi . the truck was delivered flawless and no problems yet. I have purchased new ford f150 4x4 in the past and always has to take them back for something. dodge is much better built truck and is almost 10 k cheaper. better product at a cheaper price. still cannot figure that one out.
