The 2013 GS 450h is all-new and receives substantial improvements to its hybrid powertrain, including a second-generation Lexus Hybrid Drive system featuring an Atkinson 3.5-liter V-6 engine mated to a compact, water-cooled electric motor powered by a nickel-metal hydride battery pack. With the drivetrain improvements the 450h is expected to be EPA-rated at 29 mpg city/34 mpg highway, 35 percent better than the previous GS 450h. The 450h also receives a more rigid chassis, all-new multilink rear suspension, and lighter components throughout for improved agility, comfort and control. An exterior redesign results in a wider, stronger stance, with a distinctive front fascia featuring a pinched “hourglass” design.

No bang for the buck by Shawn from Daytona Beach, FL on 01/24/2013. Trim: 2013 Lexus GS 450h Sedan.

Pros: Overall styling is very attractive, performance is exceptional, name recognition, amazingly great on gas

Cons: The price tag certainly is unjustified, and service work for this vehicle is priced borderline criminally! Lexus could of made the car a little more comfortable considering the price tag, guess the logo still costs $25k. Should be able to pick and choose certain options, not be forced to take all or nothing!

Overall review: Outclassed by many of it's less expensive luxury competitors.
