The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe receives a mild styling refresh, with a more aggressive front fascia and hood, a new LED taillight design and new 18- and 19-inch wheel designs. The exterior styling changes are complemented by improved interior materials and design. The Genesis Coupe’s engines are upgraded: The 2.0T's turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine now produces 274 horsepower -- a 30 percent increase -- and the 3.8 model's V6 engine’s output is increased from 306 to 348 horsepower, a 14 percent boost. Automatic transmissions for these two trims now have 8 speeds, with paddle-shift manual-shifting capability, and the suspension tuning of the Genesis Coupe is revised to handle the extra power. Hyundai’s telematics platform, Blue Link, is now available, and seven new exterior colors are added to the sport coupe’s palette.

G37 Killer by Dan from Atlanta on 05/07/2012. Trim: 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track Auto, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Amazing vehicle! Bought it as an alternative to the G37, A5 and C350 coupe. Was a little concerned that it was "only" a Hyundai....this car stands toe to toe with the group. Car gets many looks and comments. Performance never disappoints. Been up to the Georgia mountain switchbacks and it leaves everyone in the dust...without trying. Bought every option. Still reading the 3 thick owners manual, but the Nav/Bluelink system is fantastic. 8 speed auto gives great control with paddle shifters.
Cons: Some cheap plastic features that I expected, but most don't notice. Would like to have had a suspension adjustment feature. Very firm ride, too firm for some. Black paint seems to chip too easily. Get a bra or clear mask.
Overall review: Don't buy this car...I like having this cool unique baby all to myself. But if you must, then get the 3.8....killer.
