2013 Ford Explorer

The 2013 Explorer features standard Curve Control, an enhancement to AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control that will slow down the vehicle as much as 10 mph per second when it determines that the vehicle is going too fast for a curve. Curve control uses throttle reduction and four-wheel braking intervention to help maintain control around curves. The available Terrain Management System allows the driver to shift on the fly into one of four settings to match the terrain: Normal, Mud/Ruts, Sand or Grass/Gravel/Snow.
