2013 BMW M6

The BMW M6 Coupe returns to the lineup for the 2013 model year joining the M6 Convertible that returned as a 2012 model. The M6 Coupe and Convertible share the most powerful engine ever fitted in a series-produced model from BMW M GmbH mated to a high-torque 7-speed M-Double Clutch Transmission (M-DCT). An Active M Differential splits power between the rear wheels and extensive suspension and chassis upgrades ensure that the power is transferred to the ground. The previous generation M6 V10 engine is replaced by the 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that develops 560 horsepower and maximum torque of 500 lb-ft that is available from 1,500 rpm to 5,750 rpm.
