The 2012 Volvo XC60 offers the new Premier trim level for the XC60 3.2 that includes leather seating surfaces, laminated panoramic roof with two laminated glass panels and power sunshade, dark tint rear windows, silver roof rails and side window trim, aluminum inlay steering wheel, power passenger seat. The new Premier Plus trim level adds power tailgate with programmable memory setting, front and rear park assist, 12V power outlet in cargo area, grocery bag holder, cargo cover, compass in rear view mirror, power folding rear head restraints, Homelink remote garage door opener, Personal Keyless Drive with Personal Car Communicator (PCC) and Two-Way Car Communication. The new Platinum trim level adds Volvo Premium Sound System and Navigation System with rear park-assist camera. The XC60 T6 AWD adds a New Dynamic Package that includes FOUR-C (Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept) Active Chassis, speed-sensitive steering and active dual xenon headlights.

BEST IN CLASS- AGAIN! by Mark Tarver on 06/04/2012. Trim: 2012 Volvo XC60 T6 Platinum, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: A 300 hp twin turbo that delivers speed and torque on demand. Plush leather interior and wood finishes in the cabin create a luxurious feel. Unparalleled safety features such as blind spot detection, city safe self stopping to avoid collisions at 20mph and less ( for those who like to check email and text in traffic jams), heated front seats with built in booster seats for the kids. Automated remote controlled tail gate function, power seats, mirrors with position memory which is activated by the car key. 4x40 watt sound system with satellite, am/fm/ USB and blue tooth connectivity. Voice activated phone and navigation. “Keyless” Entry and ignition. bi-positional skylight and sunscreen

Cons: The navigation system feels awkward without a touch screen, but you get over that once you start using voice commands "navigation, go to address".

Overall review: A luxurious driving experience that delivers safety features unparallel in its class. This vehicle gives you more “Bang for the buck” than its competitors delivering more ponies under the hood, luxurious leather and wood trim cabin finishes and a design esthetic that is far from pedestrian. If you are looking at the Audi, the BMW X5, X3, or the Mercedes GFK or M, then you should definitely test drive the Volvo XC60 T6 platinum as well. This car will not only go toe to toe with them it will beat them and save you 8-15 k while doing so. We love this car! We Loved the 2010 we leased and We Love the 2012 Even More. The finest Vehicle we've ever owned.
