2012 Porsche Cayman

The 2012 Porsche Cayman remains primarily unchanged for the 2012 model year, continuing to be available as Base, S, and R. The Cayman R was introduced in 2011 for the true enthusiast. To make the car lighter, all equipment not associated with driving (air conditioning, audio equipment) is removed. Combining its lighter weight with a more powerful 330-horsepower engine makes for impressive performance. For 2012, a limited number of buyers will have the opportunity to purchase a limited-edition Cayman S Black Edition. This special Cayman is available only in monochromatic black, including, black side-air intakes and black-painted 19-inch wheels. The interior is built to match, highlighted by aluminum and stainless steel accents. The Black Edition uses the same engine as the R, producing 330 horsepower and promising a quick sprint to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds.
