The 2012 Porsche Boxster remains primarily unchanged for the 2012 model year, continuing to be available as Base, S and Spyder. The Spyder was introduced in 2011 and with all unneeded equipment removed and extensive use of aluminum; it is the lightest of all Porsches sold. For 2012, a limited number of buyers will have the opportunity to purchase a limited-edition Boxster S Black Edition. This special Boxster is available only in solid black, with a black top, black safety bars, black side-air intakes and black-painted 19-inch wheels. The interior is built to match, highlighted by aluminum and stainless steel accents. The Black Edition uses the same engine as the Spyder, producing 320 horsepower and promising a quick sprint to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds.

Pros: My last Car was a Cadillac XLR. I missed that car till I got into the Porsche! WOW! The Porsche is not as heavy as the Caddy but it is quicker, more responsive handling and 25% better on mileage. Like the Caddy, she also turns just as many heads.
Cons: The jury is still out with regards to the maintenance $$$ but so far, so good
Overall review: Worth every bit of the extra $$$$
