2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK is redesigned with styling cues from the SLS AMG, LED running lights, new powertrains, and a retractable hardtop that opens or closes in 20 seconds and offers Panorama Roof and MAGIC SKY CONTROL. The SLK350 is powered by a new 302-horsepower direct-injection 3.5-liter V6 engine combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The SLK250 debuts early in 2012 powered by a new 201-horsepower direct-injection turbocharged 1.8-liter 4-cylinder with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The SLK350 includes 18-inch 5-spoke wheels and the SLK250 features 17-inch 5-spoke wheels. New interior features include sun-reflecting leather, Direct Ambient Lighting, COMAND control knob and AIRGUIDE. New safety features include Adaptive Brake, NECK-PRO head restraints, PARKTRONIC with Parking Assist, eight airbags and standard ATTENTION ASSIST.
