2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage adds the high-performance V8 Vantage S trim to its lineup, available as either a coupe or a convertible. The Vantage S carries the same 4.7-liter V8 as the V8 Vantage, but the engine has been tuned to produce an extra 10 horsepower at 430 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a new 7-speed automated manual transmission, controlled by steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters; it is the only transmission available. The Vantage S also receives chassis revisions such as a quickened steering-rack ratio, a larger diameter front brake disc with new 6-piston front brake calipers, new springs and dampers, and wider rear wheels.
