What's New

The 2011 Volvo V50 adds a larger Iron Mark logo in the grille. The 2.4i trim level is dropped and the T5 becomes the base trim level, powered by a 227-horsepower turbocharged 5-cylinder combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The T5 R-Design is no longer available with AWD or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Sirius satellite radio, Keyless Drive and rear park assist are now available as stand-alone options.

Not too good by Harrison from Augusta, Maine on 08/24/2012. Trim: 2011 Volvo V50 T5 R-Design, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Style is alright, quality is nice

Cons: takes a while getting used to, control is a challenge, you can lose control of this suv so easily, the interior is unnactractive, i do not think people should buy this vehicle

Overall review: eh waste of money in my opinion
