GTI... wanted one back in college. Glad I finally got one 20 years later. by Crisis on 08/10/2011. Trim: 2011 Volkswagen GTI 4-door Autobahn, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The way it drives. The way it feels when you drive it. Handling. Braking. Fit and finish.

Cons: On rough roads, the ride can get a bit harsh. But that is characteristic of any vehicle tuned in this manner. 40 series tires, etc.

Overall review: Excellent car that will put a smile on your face. Just finished a road trip from Seattle to LA on the 5 and returned via 101 and the 1 along the coast which is rated as the top drive on the West Coast. Handling the curves over cliffs of ocean was superb. Hours on end with not seat fatigue. Incredibly fun car that is so much better to drive than the BMW and Mercedes that I have owned prior.
