THE OVERALL BEST CORVETTE

Trim: 2011 Chevrolet Corvette GS Coupe 1LT, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
This cars power to brake/suspension cabability ratio is the best of all corvettes. The grand sport is the LS-3 436 hp engine with ZO6 suspension parts and ZO6 huge brakes. The huge tires and wheel flares are also reminsient of the ZO6.The unpredictable rear end control loss coming out of corners (on the track) in the Z06 (never driven a ZR1) isn't noted in this car. I think the Z06 has to much power for the current corvette setup. In this car you can keep the throttle down coming out of turns with far more cofidence. . For peak performance get the manual coupe as it has shorter gear ratios, a dry sump oil system and a engine hand built at the Wixum Performance facitlity
Cons:
nothing... some performance drivers complain about the seats, I guess I'm not as good a driver as all these others because the seats at my abilitiy level have not hendered me in any way.
Overall review:
You get exactly what you are buying, a high performance sports car and all that entails. there is nothing that competes or even comes close for the money. If you can't get the Grand Sport , get a base or a 2010 low mileage used one. The last years of the C-6 traditonally speaking are the best of this series. You will not be disapointed.
