Pros: Power, acceleration, handling, stability, no-BS understated design that will last, quality materials, thought-out ergonomics and features. The diesel has been frugal for the car of this weight: 20-21 mpg in the city, 27-28 mpg on the highway. The car always feels very composed and in control of the road. Overall review: Very impressed with a diesel. There is never any lack of power, it has a pleasant growl to it and it is a lot more efficient than the gasoline 3.0 turbo. BMW America had a $2,500 credit on any diesel car in 2011, which tipped me over in my decision, and I do no regret it!
