The 2011 Audi Q7 offers two new supercharged V6 engines and a new 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission standard for all trim levels. The base engine is a new 272-horsepower 3.0-liter TFSI V6 that delivers 295 lb-ft of torque and the Q7 quattro S line Prestige is powered by a 333-horsepower TFSI V6 that produces 325 lb-ft of torque. The Q7 quattro TDI is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel that develops 225 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque and is rated at 17/25 mpg city/hwy.

Q7 TDI is good value! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/26/2011. Trim: 2011 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI Premium quattro, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: TDI gets great fuel economy! Low noise and low emissions. Nice leather trim is standard and comfortable. Exempt from smog requirments in California :-)

Cons: 4 year 50K mile standard service is not included with vehcile and must be purchased as an option :-( No extended power train warranty standard. :-( Premium vehicle should include these items as a factory statement of quality.

Overall review: Would highly recommend. Better value than the VW SUV TDI. Close to the same cost with better style and options.
