The 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser adds dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence and new roller rockers to the 4.0-liter V6 engine to increase power to 258 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque while boosting EPA estimated combined fuel economy ratings from 17 to 18 mpg. A Trail Teams Special Edition is offered that looks like a safari vehicle with Sandstorm exterior paint (including the roof), black hood paint and other black components. The Trail Teams Special Edition is equipped with the Off Road Package that includes trail-tuned Bilstein shocks, rear differential lock, A-TRAC traction control system, skid plates, rock rails andTRD beadlock-style alloy wheels with BFG All-Terrain tires. Inside Trail Teams includes beige seat inserts, all-weather floor mats and all-weather cargo mat.
