The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class gets updated styling and new features for the new model year. The GL350 Bluetec and GL450 sport new front grilles and bumpers that get a more contemporary look, highlighted by chrome-ringed fog lights while LED technology is implemented for taillights and optional LED daytime running lights. Inside are new seats, burl walnut interior trim and an enhanced instrument cluster. The GL550 does not benefit from the exterior updates, however it receives new burl walnut interior trim, ambient interior lighting and standard LED daytime running lights. The GL350 Bluetec replaces the GL320 Bluetec in the lineup, continuing to provide V8-like torque with impressive fuel economy with Mercedes’ clean diesel technology.

A Luxurious SUV by MB Gl550 on 04/01/2013. Trim: 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL550, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Excellent handling and grip for a large SUV, very smooth highway ride, great sound system, 5.5 liter V8 has abundant passing power and extremely powerful acceleration from standstill, 7 comfortable seats with a comfortable third row, great looks. Great road trip car.
Cons: Lots of small and annoying problems which cause unnecessary trips to the dealer. Trunk could be bigger.
Overall review: Great all round SUV but could be a little more reliable.
