What's New

The 2009 Subaru Outback is upgraded with a number of new features and equipment. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) is now standard on all models, while the Outback Limited (which replaces the L.L. Bean trim) gets standard tinted glass and steering wheel audio controls. A new Special Edition features 17" alloy wheels, heated front seats, wiper de-icer and heated side mirrors, fog lights, and an 8-way power driver's seat. Also available is a new Harmon Kardon 440-watt audio system.

A Really Useful Vehicle by ezshift from our left coast on 01/20/2013. Trim: 2009 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited, Owned 4 years.

Pros: Second Outback. First one gave 10 trouble-free years.So far 4 trouble-free years ,and probably many more.In my experience,a Subaru does not require extensive maintenance.Just do what the Owners Manual says to do,some washing and waxing and run it for a bunch of years.

Cons: Standard engine could probably use a little more power.
