The Astra is offered in both two- and four-door versions, with a hatchback bodystyle. The standard engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder. Curtain air bags, front side air bags, and active head restraints are standard. ESC is standard only on the two-door models but optional on the four-door versions.
