New for 2009 Porsche Boxster

The 2009 Porsche Boxster is redesigned with subtle styling changes including two-tube style headlights influenced by the Carrera GT, larger air intakes and LED running lights. The Boxster is powered by a 255-horsepower 2.9-liter flat-6 engine and the Boxster S is powered by a 310-horsepower 3.4-liter flat-6 engine. For the first time, Porsche’s 7-speed double-clutch PDK transmission is available for Boxster and Boxster S. The 2009 Boxster also receives larger wheels, suspension upgrades and larger brakes.

Short Take

This roadster's handling and braking are superb, and the ride is firm but not punishing. It is relatively quick and fun to drive. The two trunks give it a bit of practicality. The power top can be operated at low speeds.
