 Short Take
The Galant is a sound car competing with better ones. We found the V6 quick and nicely trimmed, but the it has too much torque steer and fuel economy is just 20 mpg. The four-cylinder engine is spirited but noisy, and returns 23 mpg. The ride is choppy and stiff even on smooth pavement.
