2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK

The 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK is updated with new exterior styling, a new instrument cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel. The restyled front bumper includes a more pronounced V-shape to the air dam and at the rear there is a diffuser-style design for the lower valance, trapezoidal exhaust and dark-tinted taillights. The side mirrors now include arrow-shaped LED turn indicators. Offered in three versions, SLK 300, SLK350 and SLK55 AMG, the SLK350 debuts a new 3.5-liter V6 that develops 300 horsepower, an increase of 32 horsepower with lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions. The SLK55 is powered by the AMG 5.5-liter V8 producing 355 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque.
