Great overall package.

Trim: 2009 Mazda MAZDASPEED3 Grand Touring 5-Door, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Very fun to drive! Interior quality is much better then expected in a vehicle priced in the lower 20s. Take it on a test drive, you'll have a blast and won't be wanting to look at anything else. I would say it's the best overall package in this price category. If you do get it, consider getting a Cold Air Intake for it as well, it adds 20 more horses and torque, plus better milage and turbo whoosh sound for about 300-500 bucks depending on where you get it installed.
The glove compartment is huge.
It's doesn't scream for attention due to looks that are very similar to the regular Mazda 3, so that's both good and bad, depending on what you're looking for.
Cons:
Could use a couple more color choices.
Next year model's exterior design is
Not the most mod friendly of vehicles. It's been out for 3 years now and people have only been able to get about 100 extra horses from it. Some of the modded cars blew their engines as well, and Mazda seems to like to void warranties if they notice any mods or if you don't have perfect service records.
Also some users reported turbo smoking at Idle...
Overall review:
Great overall package. Fast and comfortable, decent sound system on the GT trim. Interior is awesome. Milage is decent (I'm getting 25 avg). Not the best car for the tuner though.
