The 2009 Infiniti QX56 remains primarily unchanged for the new model year. Having just had a major refresh in 2008, the 2009 QX56 gets one new exterior color, Deep Garnet, and the addition of an automatic speed-sensing door lock function to the standard power door lock system. Still available with either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, the QX56 gets its power from a 320-horsepower 5.6-liter V8 engine. Standard amenities are plentiful, including a hard-drive-based navigation system, 12-speaker Bose audio system, heated seats in the front two rows, leather trim , Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and power-folding rear seats.

Useful?

Pros: Great exterior styling with an abundance of options which are standard. The interior is luxurious with enough room to easily haul seven people around town.

Cons: Fuel economy is poor. The cargo space is non-spacious when the 3rd row seats are up.

Overall review: Great value for a full-size luxury SUV. You would be paying much more compared to the Mercedes GL or Lexus LX.
