New for 2009 Honda S2000

The 2009 Honda S2000 remains primarily unchanged for the new model year. The fun-to-drive roadster still features a 237 horsepower, 2.2-liter, 16-valve DOHC VTEC 4-cylinder engine teamed with a short throw 6-speed manual transmission. Honda introduced the S2000 Club Racer last year, and the CR continues to offer aggressive track-oriented settings, increased body and chassis rigidity, overall weight reduction, and aerodynamic spoilers tuned for reduced lift and enhanced chassis balance at high speeds.

Short Take

This uncompromising rear-drive roadster has a small four-cylinder engine that delivers impressive power, complemented by a crisp-shifting six-speed manual. Handling is precise and predictable at its limits. The ride is hard and noisy. ESC is standard.
