More power, mileage and electronics too.
ConsumerReports.org® Short Take
The Escape has a roomy interior, spacious rear seat, and good cargo space. Fit and finish is unimpressive and the car is noisy with loud engines. The V6 provides strong acceleration, while the four-cylinder is adequate. The hybrid drivetrain works well, returning 26 mpg overall.
