The unimpressive Avenger is Dodge's version of the Chrysler Sebring. Available engines are a noisy 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a more refined 3.5-liter V6. Handling is ungainly and the ride is stiff and unsettled. The styling compromises rear-seat access and visibility.
