The 2009 Chrysler Town & Country offers new Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path safety systems. The Rear Cross Path system utilizes the same dual ultra-wideband radar sensors as the Blind Spot Monitoring to warn the driver when the vehicle is in reverse is any traffic is moving toward the vehicle. The Town & Country LX adds a bright grille, bright daylight opening and body-color door handles. Fuel economy on 4.0-liter engine improves to 17/25 city/highway mpg and the 4.0-liter engine is now available on Touring.

Nice van that but could be much better by An MSN Autos Consumer on 01/30/2012. Trim: 2009 Chrysler Town & Country Touring, Owned 3 years.

Pros: Very comfortable to drive, roomy interior, drives nice and handles well, Entertainment system is great.
Cons: The transmission shifts awkward. The engine burns about 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles.
Overall review: Great van could be nicer with a diffeent transmission and engine
